Description

The main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the Ecocapsule by the optimization of the domestic hot water generation. The objective is the development of an innovative MHPWH for mobile applications with less energy consumption than conventional water heaters for these applications.

EnergyLab's Tasks

EnergyLab performed the following tasks:

  • Development a micro heat pump water heater (MHPWH) adapted to the needs and requirements of the Ecocapsule.
  • Assembly and lab testing MHP-DHW through all the components necessary for optimal operation (micro heat pump, water tank, pipes, coolant, sensors, etc.) to check performance in different operating conditions.
