For this, the adaptation of 18 clean points in cross-border space, the stock exchange of resources and secondary raw materials, the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of the WEEE typologies contemplated in the project (washing machines, dishwashers, tablets and smartphones) will be carried out, comparing reuse and recycling, as well as social motivation and involvement of producers and manufacturers in new WEEE management strategy.

EnergyLab's Tasks

EnergyLab performed the following tasks:

  • Collection of data related to the preparation process for the reuse of tablets, smartphones, washing machines and dishwashers in the start-up of the pilot centers.
  • Analysis of the life cycle of the sustainability parameters of the reuse process versus the recycling process.
  • Analysis of the results obtained in the different scenarios according to the selected environmental impact categories.
