Description

The objective of this project is to develop the verification files for the granting of regulated subsidies for companies exposed to a significant risk of carbon leakage (Indirect Cost Compensation Mechanism), electro-intensive companies according to Royal Decree 1106/2020 and gas-intensive companies according to Royal Decree-law 20/2022.

EnergyLab's Tasks

EnergyLab performed the following tasks:

  • Verification files of companies exposed to a significant risk of carbon leakage for the compensation of indirect costs in 2022.
  • Verification files of electro-intensive companies corresponding to charges for the financing of the specific remuneration for renewables and high-efficiency cogeneration and for the additional financing in non-peninsular territories supported during the year 2022.
  • Verification files from gas-intensive companies to compensate for additional costs due to the exceptional increase in natural gas prices during 2022.
