Objective: To promote the sustainable management of WEEE, involving citizens, local administrations, producers/manufacturers, GIGs and management companies in the framework of the Directive 2012/19/UE, including the principles of efficient use of resources and prevention. To boost circular economy by promoting a market of secondary raw materials, some of them crucial. Creation of green employment by the strengthening of technological innovation and development applied to WEEE management. Cross-border cooperation is required to share experiences linked to current WEEE management, the new approach after the Directive and the accomplishment of a huge market of raw materials as well as completing the specialisation in different kind of WEEE.
