CET10 Jupiter Energy Study

NameCET10 Jupiter Energy Study
CategoryIndustry
Start DateMay 2019
End DateOctober 2019
ClientCET10 JUPITER Sports Center

Description

The main objective of the project is to carry out an energy study of the CET10 JUPITER sports facilities, based on an internationally recognized methodology, to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and prioritize actions in the center.

EnergyLab’s Tasks

EnergyLab performed the following tasks:

  • Identification and evaluation of the most important consumption centers in the building.
  • Technical and economic analysis of ESMs. The following renewable energy generation technologies will be studied in detail:
    • Photovoltaic: design and calculation of a photovoltaic facility on the roof, adapting the generation of renewable energy to the energy demand of the building during its operation.
    • Geothermal: design and calculation of a low enthalpy geothermal facility using a water-water heat pump to meet the demands of air conditioning and DHW.
    • In addition, other measures to improve energy efficiency will be studied to reduce the economic impact of the main consumption of the sports center.
  • Study of optimization of generation costs based on the decoupling of the production of renewable energy and the consumption of the building.
  • Study of energy strategies that can be extrapolated to other sports centers managed by CET10.
