TINZEF Televés

EnergyLab performed the following tasks:

• Analyse and evaluate the implications associated with energy regulations in industry both at national and European level, with an emphasis on the industrial sector and the implication that the ISO 50.001 certification has on it.
• Analyse and evaluate the implications associated with the application of Directive 2009/125/EC on the energy consumption of products manufactured by Televés.
• Analysis of the different alternatives for reducing energy consumption (the generation of Renewable Energies); the storage of energy, both electrical and thermal; the reuse of energy generated in the manufacturing process (energy recovery)) in the Televés plant, with the aim of defining the requirements of the nZEF model (nearly Zero Emissions Factory) and the possibilities for Televés’ nZEF pilot plant.
• Design of an algorithm for the prediction of photovoltaic renewable energy generation based on different variables and technical and meteorological parameters.
• Achieve an energy indicator (KPI) in which the amount of energy consumed by each part manufactured in the Televés pilot plant (automatic zinc plating) is related.
